Where does the money go?

88¢ of every dollar goes to program: policy research, legal work, signature drives and county organizing. The rest covers processing fees and the small staff that keeps the lights on. Members get the full ledger after every session.

Is my membership tax-deductible?

No. Oregon Freedom Coalition is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, so membership dues and contributions are not deductible as charitable donations. That status is what lets us lobby and fight ballot measures directly — the trade is deductibility for the ability to actually pressure the legislature.

I already signed a petition. Isn't that enough?

Signatures win one fight. Money wins the next one before it starts. The petition you signed cost roughly $1.10 per valid signature to collect and verify — members are how we pay for that in advance instead of scrambling after a bad bill drops.

What if I can't give monthly?
