Darin’s entrepreneurship career began when he purchased Phil’s Phine Phoods in 1991 and shortly after built Harbick’s Country Store which he owned for 20 years. A decade later he built Takoda’s Restaurant which he sold in 2023 to his daughter, Taya, and her husband, Daniel. In 2024 he sold Harbick’s Inc., a logging and dump truck business to his son Trey. The Harbick’s most rewarding business is their two-faith based residential treatment homes which serves people with mental illness.
